Privacy

This site collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, and nothing stored that identifies you.

What we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or any other contact detail.
• No account, because there is nothing to sign up for.
• No IP addresses stored against your activity.
• No advertising or tracking cookies.
• No identifier that follows you between visits, sessions or devices.
• No payment details, because nothing here is paid for.

What we do collect

We count how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can tell whether it works. Specifically we record events such as a test being started, a question being answered, and a test being completed, along with the score and how long it took.

These records carry a random identifier that is created in your browser when you arrive and is discarded when you close the tab. It is never written to storage or to a cookie, and it cannot be linked to you, to another visit, or to anything you do elsewhere.

Raw event records are summarised into daily totals and then deleted. What remains is counts . How many tests were started on a given day, and how many were finished.

Why there is no cookie banner

Because none of this identifies a person, and because we set no tracking cookies, there is nothing to ask your consent for. If that changes. If advertising is introduced, for example . This page will be updated and consent will be requested before anything changes.

Where the data is held

The site runs on Cloudflare’s network, and aggregate usage counts are stored in a database hosted there. Cloudflare also provides basic, cookieless traffic statistics such as page views and referring sites.

Your test results

Your answers are held only for as long as it takes to grade the paper. The score is stored without anything connecting it to you. Closing the tab ends the session; there is no way for us, or for anyone else, to retrieve your results afterwards.

Children

This site is aimed at people old enough to apply for a driving licence. It collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the change will be visible here before it takes effect.
